“ I teach botony at the State Ranatkotar University, Jalore. I also lead their NCC activities. I am also active at the national level committees to bring in reforms in the educational sector. As part of these activities and also the campaign, I began to realise that girls are not part of NCC. I began to give this a lot of thought. I then approached Dev Parmar at college and with his help, I began to dialogue with the girls, get them interested in NCC and help them sign up as cadets. I wish to thank Dev KIshan who helped me in my efforts and today we are both proud that many girls have joined NCC.”
