Twenty three old Abhishek Kumar of village Brahmpura in the district of Muzaffarpur in Bihar has stood up for his sister in law who was being abused. He did this after being involved with the campaign. He has now identified two panchayats in need of attention and works to educate people on violence against women. “I also carry a poster of the campaign on my cycle and use this as a talking point.” He says he has mobilised the police personnel to pay attention to cases where women are abused so that they are not dismissed as personal issues. He says that he has singlehandedly mobilised 1,500 Change Makers.
